BIO

Born into a working-class family, I was lucky enough to be raised on a varied diet of feminist books and punk music as a result of free-range parenting. I become a liberal and adventurous person, and found my true calling in journalism.

I learned international journalism standards at the breaking news desk of Reuters Beijing Bureau. I acquired patience and an eye for detail from my traineeship in the UNITAR HR unit. I’m a quick learner and I like to be challenged. In my free time, I volunteer for the Prisoner Literature Project (PLP).
